friend...

She could be a total spaz and then sit and have a deep and meaningful conversation. She had a strong and loyal group of friends, many of whom are still in touch. They made her life so much fun and had such great times together. They were so creative and adventurous. They had a special place in her life and helped her become the person she was.

I know our family is not the only ones who feel her loss. There were so many others who loved her and miss her too. She was lucky to have such great friends. Those friendships have even affected our lives, they taught us what true friendship really are.

Trisha had the best group of friends a girl could ask for. I loved each of them. They really meant so much to her and I know she fully intended on keeping in touch with all of them. She would definitely be the ring leader now in making sure everyone was living their best life and keeping on the straight and narrow. I'm sure she looks in on them as much as us because she loves them so, so much.

I was digging through a box last week and found a letter I had written home when I was at USU. Half the letter was devoted to how jealous I was of Trisha! She had lots of cute boys asking her out and she seemed to be making money on her scholarships. It made me smile to think of what a neat person she was...beautiful, smart AND nice (very hard to compete with :)). --Heidi (Hickman) Thompson
